As eDiets.com Director of Nutrition Services, she is responsible for the development, design and implementation of the company’s nutritional components, including product offerings, nutritional programs, media publicity and meal delivery.
Pam is a member of the Florida Dietetic Association, American Dietetic Association and Broward County Dietetic Association, and serves on the board of the Florida Council on Renal Nutrition/National Kidney Foundation. Some of her accomplishments include being named “The Young Recognized Dietitian for the Broward County Dietetic Association”, the recipient of the “National Kidney Foundation Dietitian Exemplary Practice Award,” and a finalist for the South Florida Business Journals Up & Comers Award for 2008.
Since there is always room to work with the public and community sector, she owns and operates a private consulting practice Pamela B. Ofstein & Associates for over the past ten years promoting health and educating individuals on renal disease, diabetes, child obesity, weight-management and general nutrition health. Serving the public allows Pam to continue to lend her expertise as a national spokeswoman for a vast array of media venues; including contributions as a media spokeswoman to nationwide and local magazines such as the following:
